Oscar is approximately 11cm tall to the tips of his ears and approx 10cm wide plus the base. He’s a happy Owl with his own little character and big wide eyes!
He’s made from fused glass powders, sheet glass and glass Frits in a lovely turquoise and French vanilla with accents of Egyptian blue on his wings. I like to use a mix to make them look like feathers.
There’s also other colours to choose from from or I can make a colour to suit you if I have them available.
He has been fired to leave a lovely textured finish to his wings making him very tactile.
He has 2 firings in the kiln and then he’s attached to his base with very strong glue which is allowed to dry for at least 48 hours before being moved.

His little feet are made from wire encased between the glass and he stands on clear glass base.
