Lovely poppy heads drift in the breeze as a little bee buzz’s around gathering pollen.

Each of these items is unique so will vary from piece to piece as is the nature of a handmade item. The last 2 pictures show a slight variation I have made and this can be an option if you prefer this style please leave a note in the comments if you do.

They’re made using glass enamel and crushed glass frit to create the beautiful textured finish. The little bee is made from a glass blob which is hand painted with enamel paint.

This poppy design is available as either a wave or a large curve.
They’re approx 25x12cm before they’re moulded in to shape.

I like to fire these pieces to leave a textured finish and give them a tactile feel. This piece has 2 firings to create it and spends around 40 hours in the kiln.

Made from 3mm sheet glass, frit, enamel paint and stringers in bullseye glass.
